Guru Nanak's Free Kitchenette providing free food to Sydney's homeless

GNFK has held more than 70 events in last six years to provide free food and warm clothes to the homeless, says co-founder Balbir Singh.

Passionate about media and technology started my career in ICT in 1987 in India in computer operations. Then moved on to the teaching in IT for five years. After migrating to Australia in 1998, tried few jobs in IT support to place myself in a new country /environment. At the same time started writing in print media and then slowly moved on to electronic media by joining SBS as a casual tradelister in 2007. Also moved into project management as Manager ICT with Dept of Justice. Got a part-time permanent job as Producer Punjabi program in SBS's Audio and Language Content in 2012.
